Over the four decades of the Vyatka Historical and Local Lore Club ‘Mir’ (Peace & Community), its members—both teenagers and older people—have gathered invaluable collections of folk culture and everyday items in abandoned villages. But Mir is not just about museum exhibitions, but also about a vibrant life filled with folk songs, games, and dances. It continues in the streets of the city and beyond, engaging the public in a shared celebration where they can sing songs and master the traditional crafts.
